Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. - Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Repair or replace faulty components, including welding repairs and residential painting as needed.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure automation systems operate efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Supervise or assist with projects involving facilities maintenance, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Lead small teams or supervise maintenance staff during shift operations, providing guidance and support.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and facility layouts for effective repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all maintenance procedures.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics.
- Skilled in welding techniques for various repair needs.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance including plumbing, HVAC, and residential painting.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters effectively.
- Leadership experience supervising or leading maintenance teams is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal clients or external vendors.
- Good communication skills in English to document work accurately and follow safety instructions effectively.
