At Metal Powder Works, we’ve invented an entirely new way to make metal powders and now we’re commercializing it. Our DirectPowder™ technology produces metal powders for use in multiple manufacturing processes like Powder Metallurgy and Additive Manufacturing. We’re a fast-growing company that builds custom CNC machine tools for an innovative process to produce powdered metal. Our team is small and deeply passionate about precision engineering and solving hard problems in the powder production space. We’re looking for a mechanically inclined person to help bring our new machine implementation and facility to the next level.
As a Machine/Facility Technician, you’ll work closely with engineers and management to build, test, and iterate on custom CNC systems. Along with being responsible for facility maintenance and infrastructure. You’ll be assembling mechanical systems, wiring motors and sensors, troubleshooting issues, and contributing ideas to improve our machines, build process, and shop floor. This is a hands-on role that’s ideal for someone with foundational mechanical or electrical experience who thrives in a small team.
