McKay Métis Contracting, an entity of McKay Métis Group, is seeking an experienced Site Administrator to support our operations at Syncrude Mildred Lake.
# The Role: Reporting to the Manager, Project Controls, the Site Administrator is responsible for a variety of site administration related duties.
- Work with Operations Leadership to ensure that administrative needs at site are being met
- Assist operations management team with administrative functions and processes
- Adherence to client contract, site specific requirements and compliance with internal policies
- Once employees are cleared to deploy to site, work with superintendents and operations manager to dispatching personnel to projects
- Badge activations and deactivations
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external clients
- Prepare, submit, and track approvals of daily workorders, timesheets, LEMs (Labour, Equipment and Material)
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of daily reports ensuring operations team adheres to provided timelines and deliverables
- Ensuring documentation is properly maintained
- Assist with resolving any issues that may arise
- Managing and building relationships with multiple teams
- Work collaboratively with Accounts Receivable
- Analyse project data and producing progress reports
- Responsible for filling out all employee forms for specified site and providing them to the required departments
- All other duties as required
- Post-secondary education in relevant field considered an asset
- 2+ years relevant experience as a site administrator- Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- CSO
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Outlook
- Multitasking and organizational skills a necessity
- Data entry skills, with a high degree of accuracy
- Time management, prioritization and attention to detail skills are imperative
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
- Able to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Versatility, flexibility, and adaptability with changing priorities
- Advanced written and oral communication skills
- 7 days on, 7 days off, 12 hours per day
