ABOUT THE ROLE . . .
The Maintenance Parts Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining the spare parts inventory that supports maintenance operations. This role ensures the availability of critical parts, tracks inventory levels, coordinates purchasing, and supports maintenance staff with timely parts issuance to reduce equipment downtime.
•Maintain accurate and organized inventory of maintenance and repair parts, tools, and supplies.
•Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to replenish inventory as needed.
•Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming parts and supplies.
•Utilize SAP software to track parts usage, stock levels, and reorder points.
•Issue parts and materials to maintenance staff upon request and document usage.
•Maintain proper labeling and bin organization in storerooms or inventory areas.
•Collaborate with maintenance, purchasing, and vendor teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of required materials.
•Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
•Maintain records of warranty information, vendor contacts, and technical documentation for stored parts.
•Support continuous improvement initiatives in inventory control and maintenance efficiency.
Position Qualifications
•High school diploma or GED.
•2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or maintenance support.
•Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
•Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
•Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial warehouse environment.
•Familiarity with industrial equipment parts and tools.
