Duties and Responsibilities:
Compressor Valve Shop Tech / Labourer duties will include but are not limited to:
•
Rebuilding compressor valves and packing cases
•
Ensuring shop area, and equipment are clean
•
Assisting machinists
•
Disassembly/ reassembly of compressor components
•
Operating machines such as: lapping table, surface grinders, manual lathes, milling machines, etc.
•
Inspecting and repairing equipment and components
•
Cleaning
•
Shipping/ receiving duties
•
Communication with staff and customers
The right candidate will possess:
•
Experience in the compression industry is an asset
•
Excellent verbal and communication skills
•
Mechanically inclined
•
Ability to work overtime hours as required
•
Strong time-management skills
•
Strong organizational skills
•
Prioritizing skills
•
Excellent work ethic
