Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Catering Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with experience in managing catering operations. This role involves overseeing all aspects of catering events, from planning and coordination to execution and follow-up. The Catering Coordinator will work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met while maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
This position is temporary through the end of 2025.
- Manage food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met.
- Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
- Utilize software platforms for order management.
- Supervise kitchen operations to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Schedule deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with health regulations.
- Proven experience in food service management or catering coordination.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
- Experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and staff
- Background in hospitality management or culinary arts is preferred.
- Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is advantageous.
