This job is 100% onsite at our facility in Roanoke, Texas.
The Support Operator is responsible for several key functions related to the processing of electrical test equipment as it moves from Receiving to Cleaning and Shipping. Support Operators will learn a variety of electrical testing models and their associated processes and accessories.
· Perform physical cleaning of electrical test equipment and accessories
· Replenish missing accessories and document using internal applications on tablet
· Unload inbound equipment shipments and customer returns
· Perform verification of returned accessories and document equipment condition
· Restocking of equipment by manufacturer within multiple warehouse locations
· Packing of equipment in boxes and using spray foam system
· Shipment of freight equipment and securing on pallets or crates
· Successful history working with a cohesive team
· Forklift certification is a plus but not required
- All positions will require, to some degree, the physical abilities described below to perform the essential functions of the job
- Work the expected hours, consistently arrive at work at the agreed time and follow Company rules and guidelines regarding breaks and meal periods. Full time is typically considered to be 40 hours per week
- Communicate effectively, both oral (in person and on the phone) and written.
- Lift, push and move up to 75 pounds individually and up to 150 pounds as a team
- Use of tablets and computers in various IT systems
- Move around and through all work areas as needed, may include climbing stairs or ladders
- Use keyboard or equivalent equipment, to access the computer,
- Use hands to manipulate documents and general paperwork to view contents
