The Inventory Control role will be responsible for supporting and optimizing the inventory of steel products across our warehouse or distribution facility. This hands-on position requires a deep understanding of steel product types, handling procedures, and inventory management best practices. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess strong attention to detail, and have experience handling inventory in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Medium Work - Exerting Up To 50 Pounds Of Force Occasionally, And/or To 20 Pounds Of Force Frequently, And/or Up To 10 Pounds Of Force Constantly To Move Objects. Job Function

- Checking loads for accuracy

- Performing load spot checks

- Checking loaded trailers to assure they are safe and chainable

- Pre receiving of mill trucks and railcars as needed

- Do PO reservations and pull work orders

- Research depleted tags

- Fill out inventory adjustment request forms as needed

- Investigate missing/can't find material

- Inspect RMAs

- Communicate with traffic, QA and warehouse daily

- Special projects assigned by management as necessary

Required Skills

Required 1-3 years warehouse experience

Eniteo program knowledge necessary

Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook preferred
