Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Worker/delivery driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks that support the daily operations of our yard, ensuring that materials and equipment are handled efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various types of equipment and drive pickup truck and trailers.
Responsibilities
•
drive pickup trucks and perform pre and post checks on trailers.
•
Drive pickup trucks for route driving to deliver or pick up equipment as needed.
•
Perform heavy lifting and moving of materials throughout the yard.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations. .
•
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient yard operations.
Qualifications
•
Previous experience as a courier/rental delivery in a similar role is preferred.
•
Valid driver's license with experience in commercial driving is a plus.
•
Strong physical capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and manual labor tasks.
•
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed.
