Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice to join our manufacturing team. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop hands-on skills in machining and assembly within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

- First and foremost, cleaning, organizing, and communicating.

- Assist with operating CNC machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, saws and belt-sanders.

- Support the setup and operation of other machinists.

- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications

- Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet quality standards

- Participate in materials handling, packaging, and assembly line tasks to support production flow

- Gain experience with tooling setup, Machining processes, and basic math calculations related to manufacturing tasks

Skills

- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, and assembly

- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar design tools

- Knowledge of CNC programming concepts and CAM programming fundamentals

- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately

- Mechanical aptitude with experience or interest in welding, tooling, or materials handling preferred

- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers

- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards

- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely

- Prior warehouse or factory experience is advantageous but not required

- Willingness to learn new skills quickly in a fast-paced environment
