Construction Project Manager- Continuity & Completion Lead
Location: Based in New Mexico. On-site as needed for projects in NM and AZ. Employment Type: Full-time Reports To: Ownership
- The Continuity & Completion Lead is responsible for ensuring that active projects and commitments are carried through to clear, consistent, and well-documented completion.
- Maintain oversight of active client-facing and internal projects, including land and property development and environmental construction work.
- Ensure continuity during project transitions, handoffs, or scope adjustments
- Track commitments, timelines, and dependencies to prevent gaps or delays
- Identify risks, incomplete elements, or misalignments early and address them proactively
- Drive projects through final stages to confirmed completion
- Ensure punch lists, final details, and deliverables are fully resolved
- Verify that completion standards are met and documented
- Close loops with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Translate approved and evolving direction into clear scope, milestones, and completion criteria
- Serve as a consistent coordination point across operations, field teams, subcontractors and ownership
- Provide clear, factual updates that support predictability and informed decision-making
- Reduce the need for routine owner intervention by resolving issues at the appropriate level, while escalating decisions that require owner input in a timely and organized way.
- Translate complex situations into clear next steps and responsibilities
- Assist in the selection, contracting process and oversight of subcontractors who work alongside the in-house team on internal development projects.
- Contribute to systems, checklists, and documentation that improve reliability
- Identify recurring operational breakdowns and recommend practical improvements
- Support workload prioritization to maintain sustainable capacity and execution quality
- Has experience in construction or facilities management
- Demonstrates strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Is comfortable managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously
- Communicates clearly, directly, and professionally
- Maintains composure in complex or changing environments
- Values structure, consistency, and completion over urgency or visibility
This role does not set organizational vision or strategic direction, drive growth, sales, or utilization, or hold long-term ownership of client relationships or project portfolios.
This role exists to support operational stability by maintaining continuity across projects, reducing handoff breakdowns, protecting momentum without burnout, and ensuring that work is completed to agreed standards —even as priorities evolve. The Continuity & Completion Lead focuses on coordination, follow-through, and closure.
Success in this role is measured by predictability, reduced re-work and clean project completion.
