The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for managing all inventory functions to improve efficiency, reduce costs and support the delivery of great customer service company-wide.

- Responsible for overseeing and managing all day-to-day activities related to inventory control and logistics to maximize process efficiency and productivity.
- Effectively manage a team of inventory personnel remotely across multiple stores.
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock for every location.
- Monitor and work with local personnel to improve inventory accuracy rates at all locations.
- Monitor and maintain acceptable inventory turnover rates for all locations.
- Assist with the development and execution of a continuous improvement strategy for inventory control.
- Develop inventory controls to identify demand for new parts and materials.
- Regularly report on KPIs to upper management.
- Ensure inventory records are accurately maintained within ERP system.
- Maintain inventory item master within ERP system.
- Oversee parts transfer process between stores.
- Oversee and improve cycle count and physical inventory count process.
- Identify and reduce slow-moving and deadstock inventory.
- Collaborate with Branch Managers and other departments to close operational gaps as they relate to inventory and purchasing.
- Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing and Operations to forecast inventory and maintain optimum stocking levels of parts and raw materials.
- Work directly with Branch Managers and local Parts Reps to provide more efficient warehouse flow and ensure accurate receiving and order filling processes across multiple locations.
- Communicate any critical supplier and inventory updates, such as prices increases, to appropriate internal customers in a timely manner.
- Develop and nurture a culture of great internal and external customer service.
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, terminating, reviewing performance and coaching team members.
- Implement business strategies set forth by senior management.
- Additional duties assigned by manager.

Requirements WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor's degree with five (5) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Self-directed professional who takes ownership in solving problems or issues.
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft based products including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Experience working in an ERP system. Macola ERP experience a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to professionally, responsibly, and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Advanced computer literacy is required.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
