Position Description:
We’re looking for a dynamic, high performing Lab Technician who wants to learn and understand processes associated with production, repackaging gas, gas properties, and working with production equipment. The ideal candidate has a history working with his/her hands, enjoys following policies and procedures, understands the importance of safety, and is motivated by hard work.
Your Day-to-Day:
•Skillfully fill cryogenic and other compressed gases from bulk source to cylinders according to customer orders
•Assure all gases are in conformance to vendor, customer, and industry specifications
•Manage pumping and analytical logs
•Properly receive and return outsourced cylinders
•Complete compressed gas analytics testing for moisture content, purity, gas mixture ratio, cylinder pressure, and parts per million
•Perform internal equipment calibrations according to specifications and log results
•Vaporize liquid gases and fill cylinder banks
•Assess and maintain Certificate of Analysis
•Properly bar code and label cylinders or tanks
•Document and follow all SOP for producing gas and liquid products
•Strategically organize and arrange product in the fill plant
•Handle and/or move gas and liquid containers
•Safely operate a forklift; loading, unloading, transporting
•Able to perform specific data entry for FDA, DOT, etc.
•Accurately document and track production needs and requirements
•Communicate with all stakeholders effectively ensuring final quality of work
•Maintain a safe and clean work environment
•Other duties as assigned

•Be able to stand on your feet 7 to 8 hours a day with lots of walking, twisting, bending, reaching, pushing/pulling, grasping, sitting and repetitive motions
•Frequent lifting of 10-20lbs is required, may at times lift up to 75lbs
•Reoccurring pushing/pulling 150lbs
•Ability to work indoor/outdoor with hot summer and cold winter conditions where high noise levels are possible
•Strong track record of being safe
•Ability to perform repetitive work functions in a production environment
