As a Solar Finance Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for handling all financial documentation related to solar installations. This includes submitting financing applications, sending invoices, tracking funding milestones, and managing daily finance-related administrative tasks. You’ll work closely with our sales, project management, and accounting teams to ensure smooth cash flow and funding compliance.
- Submit applications for solar project financing (e.g., loans, PACE, rebates, tax credits)
- Generate and send customer and lender invoices with accuracy
- Monitor and follow up on funding disbursements
- Track accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid invoices
- Organize and maintain digital records of all finance-related project documents
- Communicate with lenders, utility companies, and internal departments as needed
- Assist with project cost reporting and funding reconciliation
- 2+ years of experience in finance, billing, project coordination, or similar role
- Previous experience in the solar or construction industry is highly preferred
- Knowledge of financing platforms such as GoodLeap, Mosaic, or Sunlight is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, CRM platforms, and cloud-based document systems
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
