FLSA Status: Nonexempt Location: Freeport, TX
The Field Quality Technician will support LNG operations by overseeing field-level quality control activities specific to painting and paint repairs. This role plays a vital part in verifying compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications during field execution. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety teams, the Field Quality Technician will help drive continuous improvement, reduce rework, and ensure high-quality field deliverables for LNG operations.
This position is based at the Terminal Facilities, LQF or PTF, with travel to off-site locations as required. This position requires the incumbent to hold a valid, unexpired driver license and passport at all times in order to perform the essential functions of the job.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience in painting quality control, coating inspection, or industrial paint repair work in LNG, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments
Preferred Education: Associates Degree in Quality Management, or a related field.
Preferred Experience: 7+ years of experience in painting quality control, coating inspection, or industrial paint repair work in LNG, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments
Support the policies, efforts, and programs of Freeport LNG Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System. Actively participate in the HSE Management System Policies. Ensure that HSE concerns are given priority in all activities completed within their area of responsibility. Implement routine inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
