Named one of the world’s Top Greentech Companies by TIME in 2024 and 2025, EnerVenue builds simpler, safer, and more flexible energy storage solutions for the clean energy transition. Based on technology proven over decades under the most extreme conditions, EnerVenue offers a differentiated stationary storage solution that improves upon today’s alternatives.
Leveraging metal-hydrogen battery technology first developed by NASA, EnerVenue’s differentiated offerings are ideal for large, stationary energy storage applications requiring robust performance, like utility power and data centers, harsh desert environments, remote project locations, and for customers seeking 'install and forget' energy storage options.
After decades of successful deployment in aerospace, and following a materials breakthrough at Stanford University, EnerVenue was formed to commercialize metal-hydrogen energy storage technology for terrestrial applications. The company has offices in the Silicon Valley, California – home to technology innovation, and Changzhou, China – the global epicenter of battery expertise. EnerVenue’s aim is to provide safe, flexible, and reliable energy storage systems that facilitate renewable energy integration and improve grid stability.
EnerVenue’s technology is ideally suited for grid-scale and commercial applications.
- EnerVenue Energy Storage Vessels can address the application needs of any system owner/operator from frequency and voltage regulation to capacity firming
- No augmentation or gross oversizing is necessary, securing large-scale project profitability for the lifetime of the system.
- Significantly lower OPEX can be achieved versus Li-ion systems, eliminating the variables that can threaten consistent revenue generation.
- While Li-ion supply chain volatility can endanger project pipelines, EnerVenue Energy Storage Vessels are made from common materials found in abundance.
- The ideal solution for data centers, demand charge avoidance, resiliency and achieving corporate sustainability goals.
- Energy Storage Vessel’s industry leading safety behavior allows for use in areas never considered before for C&I energy storage projects.
- Unique, building-integrated solutions make the most effective use of commercial space.
- Vessels can be stacked in a way that Li-ion batteries cannot, offering countless new ways to efficiently deploy storage in C&I and grid-scale markets
- Vessels can be easily integrated into basements, underground or even directly within the walls/structure of new construction.
To bridge the critical gap between high-level corporate strategy and tangible, high-impact execution. The Venture Development Team acts as the CEO's spearhead for launching and scaling new strategic initiatives. This role is for a builder, an operator, and a strategist who can move from a slide deck to a real-day action plan without losing a step.
You are a top-tier strategist with an insatiable drive to build and execute. You have spent two to four years at McKinsey, BCG, or Bain, where you mastered the art of problem-solving, rigorous analysis, and C-suite communication.
However, you grew restless only advising; you have a burning desire to leave the consultant role behind and transition to an operator, to be on the field building the plays you once only designed. You thrive in ambiguity, are energized by zero-to-one creation, and are ready to be personally accountable for the success of EnerVenue's most critical new ventures. You want to learn from scratch how to build companies and operate.
