POSITION/TITLE: Treating Truck Driver in Midland & San Angelo TX

REPORTS TO: District Manager
Brief Description:
The Treating Truck Driver is responsible for driving a commercial Treating Truck within a specified route to service wells and pipeline locations. This position requires a minimum Class A CDL, with Hazmat and Tanker license/endorsement for DOT compliance.
Detailed Description:

•Maintain proper DOT logging, to include: accurate and current driver’s log reporting; driver’s logs turned in daily; precise mileage and fuel reporting; and complying with all hours of service regulations
•Perform pre-trip inspections and post-trip inspections, such as proper fluid level checks and service as needed; proper brake inspections and slack adjustments as required; proper tire inspections; good working condition of lights; complete documentation and reporting of any defective equipment; inspecting, reporting, and maintaining adequate documentation of equipment; daily signing off on the post-trip report, etc.
•Fill out and maintain shipping documents for hazmat transportation, including proper use of placards and labels and securing loads
•Operate pumping equipment on the truck to treat oil wells, gas wells, pipelines, and tanks
•Catch samples for bacteria analysis
•Catch samples for load line visuals for bacteria analysis on 2 to 5 water load lines (Daily)
•Complete all paperwork timely and accurately
•Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED equivalent
•Valid Class A CDL with a satisfactory driving record for the past three years, no DWI/DUI convictions within the past five years, no current DWI/DUI charges, and a current medical examiners certificate valid for a minimum of 1 year
•Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen and Post-offer Employment WorkSteps physical Demonstrate the ability to work well with others and work independently when required

Working Conditions:
The employee must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others, including coworkers and third parties, including wearing any required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all designated times. This position requires the employee to work outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions typical of the area where the job is located, including dust, humidity, sleet, snow, rain, mud, cold, heat, wind, and other inclement weather. Working conditions for this position may involve exposure to varying outdoor conditions, including environmental chemicals, gases, noise, dampness, fumes, radiation, and heights. The employee must work closely with others in the confined area, in a fast-paced team environment, and work independently when required or directed, taking the initiative when necessary. To make job-related calculations, the employee must perform simple mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication). This position requires bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, crawling on uneven surfaces, and climbing equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shift. This position requires lifting/pushing objects (50 lbs max).
