The Social Media & Marketing Specialist is a key contributor to Embassys brand presence across digital and traditional platforms. In this role, youll partner closely with the Marketing Coordinator to create compelling content, manage social channels, and showcase the people, projects, and culture that make Embassy exceptional.
Youll help tell our storycapturing the craft of our teams, the beauty of our landscapes, and the spirit of our companyto support client engagement, recruiting, and brand growth.
- Develop and manage a strategic content calendar for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Business.
- Capture and edit high-quality photos and short-form videos of projects, properties, and team events.
- Write engaging captions and posts that reflect Embassys brand voice and appeal to both commercial and residential audiences.
- Track analytics, engagement, and trends to continuously improve content performance.
- Coordinate approvals, tagging, and interactions with partners and industry organizations.
- Design and refine marketing materials including flyers, proposal inserts, trade show displays, and newsletters.
- Update website content (Squarespace/WordPress), including project galleries and blog posts.
- Support management of Google Reviews, paid advertising campaigns, and email communication efforts.
- Collaborate with print, embroidery, and digital vendors to maintain consistency across branded materials.
- Assist with planning company events, photo shoots, and client appreciation initiatives.
- Serve as the in-house photographer for properties, team culture events, and seasonal work.
- Maintain and organize a growing photo library for marketing and sales teams.
- Capture dynamic, candid images that authentically showcase our people and projects.
- Edit images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to align with brand standards.
- 24 years of experience in marketing, social media management, or photography (agency or in-house experience preferred).
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom).
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with excellent attention to tone and detail.
- Experience managing business social accounts and interpreting analytics.
- Basic familiarity with website content management (Squarespace, WordPress, or similar).
- Photography experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras is required.
- Reliable transportation for photo shoots across the Kansas City metro area.
- Experience with landscape, construction, architecture, or design industries.
- Video creation/editing abilities.
- Basic understanding of SEO and Google Business optimization.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
