The Account Executive (AE) grows and nurtures client relationships within assigned markets—primarily across the energy and utilities industries. Rather than high-volume transactional selling, this role emphasizes relationship-building, account expansion, and becoming a true partner to your customers.
You’ll oversee the full account lifecycle—from initial engagement to renewal, expansion, and ongoing support—ensuring clients maximize the value of EWN’s compliance, training, and workforce solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building rapport, listening carefully to client needs, and offering thoughtful, customized solutions that deepen long-term partnerships.
- Build and nurture strong, lasting client relationships through consistent communication, check-ins, and strategic guidance.
- Proactively identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and warm inbound prospects.
- Develop territory and account plans focused on long-term account health, retention, and expansion.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs across operations, safety, compliance, and training.
- Deliver clear, effective product demonstrations and presentations tailored to each client’s goals.
- Support the full sales cycle—including proposals, agreements, renewals, and expansions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of activity, pipeline, and forecasting within Salesforce (SFDC).
- Partner closely with Marketing, Client Solutions, and Product teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing client success.
- Represent EWN at occasional industry events, trade shows, and client meetings (10–15% travel).
- Bachelor’s degree
or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3–5 years of B2B sales, account management, or client success experience
focused on relationship building.
- Demonstrated success growing or managing accounts using a consultative approach.
- Experience working with multi-stakeholder or technical customer groups.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, and virtual communication tools.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience in SaaS, compliance, workforce training, or safety-related solutions.
- Background working with clients in the energy, utilities, or oil & gas sectors.
- Strong customer-service mindset with a track record of building trust and rapport.
- Expand existing accounts with meaningful revenue growth.
- Maintain strong retention rates with assigned clients through proactive engagement.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline focused on renewals and strategic expansion opportunities.
