Responsibility for planning and directing the flow of International bulk and container shipments (exports and imports).
Arranging International bulk shipments via barge to bulk vessel as well as high volume container shipments including drayage.
Scheduling of International shipments in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Competent with truck routing, freight rates, and container costs.
Act as a liaison with freight forwarders and customs brokers to facilitate export and import shipments.
Establish and maintain professional rapport with suppliers and customers.
Communicate with and support U.S. and overseas operations and overseas customers.
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management (preferred) or equivalent experience.
A minimum of five years of experience arranging International bulk shipments and bulk container shipments.
Knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms 2020) and preparation of required documentation.
Experience using and proficient with Microsoft Office and Google applications.
Ability to prioritize tasks and function well independently.
