We have an exciting opportunity for an Interior Designer to join our commercial building design team and help drive our success and deliver outstanding results to our clients.
At EAPC, our team of architects, engineers, interior designers, construction managers, and other professionals work together to create stunning structures and design for optimum performance.
As an Interior Designer at EAPC, you will:
•Work with Architectural team to develop innovative interior design solutions.
•Enthusiastically work with clients, vendors, and architectural team to interpret and evaluate client requirements for successful project design.
•Exhibit a passion for design and innovation and thought leadership with regard to workplace strategy.
•Research materials and concepts to advise and support design team on technical issues influencing interior design concept development.
•Collaborate and communicate effectively and professionally with multidisciplinary team members.
•Review material submittals and conduct on-site observations.
Qualifications:
•Bachelors' or Masters' degree from an accredited Interior Design or Architecture program required
•5+ years experience preferred
•Experience with space planning, finish and furniture selections, design detailing, and construction documentation
•Excellent presentation skills
•Excellent communication and follow through skills
•Excellent design skills and possesses attention to detail and appreciation for creative and thoughtful design
•Technical skills including 3D visualization and knowledge of modeling programs a plus
•NCIDQ certification preferred
•LEED certification a plus
•Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
•Able to travel to remote locations
•Must possess valid driver's license
•Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
This position will report directly to the Office Manager and will work as an integrated member of a multi-discipline, in-house team of engineers, architects, and drafting technicians.
Compensation is based on the applicant's skills, education, and other qualifications.
