The Warehouse Manager is accountable for managing and executing all tasks related to shipping, receiving, and stocking within the warehouse. This role ensures that all product production activities are carried out correctly, internal procedures are adhered to, and external deliveries are accurately picked, loaded, and completed through the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager also enforces facility rules and regulations, maintains the cleanliness of the warehouse, and ensures that all safety protocols are followed.
- Manages all daily warehouse shift activities, including task checklists, and ensures that all necessary documentation is available, complete, and legible for each shift (e.g., receiving checklist, product variance form)
- Manage schedule in ADP for the warehouse team, including weekly timecard approval, time off requests, including documenting performance and completing annual reviews
- Maintain current oil sample program for established supplier accounts as well as internal sample procedure
- Responsible for receiving all products brought into the facility
- Responsible for the proper completion of forklift and pallet jack checklists (Fleetio) daily
- Arranges cleaning and maintenance of mobile equipment in the facility utilizing our internal equipment management software (Fleetio)
- Adheres to and enforces all company safety policies
- Responsible for quarterly physical inventory counts as well as routine cycle counts
- Submit monthly filing of SPCC document for the facility
- Manages the picking and loading of all lubricant delivery trucks scheduled
- Ensures accurate logging all inventory moves within the company barcoding software
- Prepare, assign, manage completion, and post daily inventory production
- Provide new warehouse employee training on on-boarding as required
- Ensure all daily documentation is accurate and submitted electronically
- Reviews all completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Ensures all deadlines are being met for production, equipment and deliveries
- Perform or support additional projects and responsibilities as needed
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in similar role, leading a team
- Demonstrates effective leadership capabilities, and problem-solving abilities
- Capable of meeting deadlines and performing well under pressure
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and other relevant software
- Qualified to operate stand-up forklift, and other equipment relevant to the position
- Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and works well in a team environment
- Ability to multi‐task and manage time efficiently
- Maintains composure and clarity in emergency situations
- Communicates clearly, effectively, and professionally with both employees and customers
- Knowledge and understanding of warehouse and inventory barcoding processes
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs frequently, up to 100lbs occasionally
- Able to bend, stand, walk, sit, push, pull, drive
- Able to stand on feet for majority of shift
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer including keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
This position will oversee and manage warehouse team members and functions, as well as having other supervisory responsibilities.
The environment may be noisy due to machinery and the movement of goods. Workers are expected to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, gloves, and sometimes eye protection. May be exposed to varied temperatures at times outdoors and indoors (heat/cold).
