Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Welder will work primarily in a manufacturing environment, contributing to the assembly and construction of high-quality products.

Responsibilities

- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, including sheet metal and ductwork

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to ensure precise fabrication

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines for fabrication tasks

- Conduct pipe threading and rigging as required for specific projects

- Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials around the construction site

- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols

- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring all specifications are met

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

Qualifications

- Proven experience in welding, with a strong understanding of MIG, TIG, FCAW techniques

- Familiarity with Ornamental Iron.

- Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and material requirements

- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise

- Experience with soldering, plasma cutting, machining, and assembly tasks is preferred

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work

- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods while performing welding tasks
