Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team, but willing to train the right person. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse set of technical skills and experience in various areas such as sandblasting, paint prep, and fabrication. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes and maintaining high-quality standards. Attention to detail is crucial. Cleanliness of work area, being on-time, and staying engaged are core tenets.

Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment, including forklift, sandblasting truck, and power tools.

- Perform assembly tasks using hand tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.

- Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance on equipment as needed.

- Execute industrial and construction painting tasks, utilizing techniques such as airless paint spraying.

- Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse environment.

- Collaborate with team members to implement lean manufacturing practices for improved efficiency.

- Engage in welding activities as required for fabrication projects.

- Apply basic math skills to perform measurements and calculations necessary for production tasks.

- Assist in other duties as required.

Experience

- Familiarity with industrial painting techniques, including powder coating and paint spraying.

- Welding experience is a plus.

- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments effectively.

- Knowledge of materials handling practices within a warehouse setting is essential.

- Previous experience with assembly work is preferred.
