We are seeking a Construction Grant Research & Funding Coordinator to support our for-profit construction business by researching, screening, and organizing government grant and incentive opportunities related to construction, infrastructure, utilities, workforce development, and equipment. This role is primarily research and coordination focused, with strategic decisions and final submissions handled by senior leadership or external consultants.

Key Responsibilities

- Research federal, state, and local grant and incentive programs applicable to construction and infrastructure businesses

- Screen opportunities for basic eligibility, deadlines, and relevance to company operations

- Maintain a grant opportunity tracker (deadlines, funding amounts, agency contacts, requirements)

- Prepare summary briefs for leadership outlining each opportunity in plain language

- Monitor government websites, agency bulletins, and funding announcements

- Assist with gathering basic company information and documents needed for applications

- Coordinate timelines and reminders for grant deadlines

- Communicate with grant administrators to request clarifications or guidance

- Support senior staff or external grant writers with background research and documentation

Required Qualifications

- Strong internet and document research skills

- Ability to read and summarize program guidelines accurately

- Strong organizational and deadline-tracking skills

- Clear written communication skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred

- Familiarity with the construction industry or infrastructure projects

- Exposure to government programs, public agencies, or grant research

- Experience with online research platforms or government portals
