Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee our Denver-based lighting retrofit service operations. This role is responsible for leading a team of service technicians, managing installation schedules, maintaining quality control, and ensuring timely and efficient project completion. Our Service Manager will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, improving operational processes, and driving profitability.
Compensation Structure
•Base salary: $70,000–$100,000 (commensurate with experience)
•Bonus plan: Additional compensation based on the profitability of completed service projects
•This structure rewards effective project management, cost control, and customer satisfaction
Key Responsibilities
•Lead, train, and manage service technicians for lighting retrofit projects and electrical services
•Coordinate project schedules and ensure timely installations
•Coordinate technical surveys and produce prompt estimates to the salespeople for labor
•Be the main point of contact for service-related customer issues
•Ensure work meets company, industry, and safety standards
•Collaborate with Project Manager and Warehouse Team for materials and logistics
•Monitor progress, resolve delays, and maintain efficiency
•Track labor KPI and technician efficiency
•Conduct quality control checks and ensure accurate documentation
•Manage inventory and maintenance of tools, vehicles, and service equipment
•Contribute to departmental goals and continuous process improvement
Qualifications
•High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
•5+ years of service management, operations, or project coordination in lighting, electrical, or construction
•Master Electrician License preferred
•Proven experience managing service teams and logistics
•Knowledge of lighting systems and installation practices is a plus
•Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
•Highly organized with strong attention to detail
