We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Service Electrician to join our team.
As a Service Electrician (Red Seal), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality electrical services to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure electrical systems' safe and efficient operation. With your expertise and technical skills, you will perform maintenance, repairs, and installations, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting and repairing all electrical systems, including, but not limited to, installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems, distribution installations and maintenance, and HVAC/lighting control systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and electrical codes to ensure the safety of customers and colleagues. Conduct inspections to identify potential hazards and address them appropriately.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally and courteously. Understand their electrical needs and provide appropriate solutions. Communicate effectively to explain the work performed and answer any questions.
- Emergency Repairs: Respond to emergency service calls promptly to address electrical failures or hazards.
- Work Order Management: Receive, process, and manage work orders, ensuring prompt and accurate completion
- 2 Years of working experience as a Journeyman
- 2 Years of working experience in a Service Technician Role
- Must be able to work days, afternoons, or night shift
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A valid driver's license
- Proficiency in the English language is essential
- Clean driving record (driver abstract required)
- Successful completion of a background check
- Some travel may be required
- FSR designation is an asset
