Job Summary:
Coated Metals Group (CMG), an employee-owned company (ESOP) and a leader in architectural sheet metal products, is seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Verona, WI. In this role, you will be a key part of our operations by efficiently handling materials and loading customer orders. If you're skilled with forklifts, familiar with warehouse management systems, and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, this role is a perfect fit for you. Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm (with flexibility based on production needs)
Key Responsibilities:
•
Operate forklifts to move and organize raw materials and finished goods, including steel coil, and sheet products (up to 10,000lbs).
•
Safely load delivery vehicles with accurate products to fulfill customer orders.
•
Collaborate with the warehouse and sales teams to fulfill and manage inventory orders efficiently.
•
Other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
•
Reliability: Punctuality, responsibility, and commitment to delivering high-quality work are essential.
•
Forklift Experience: Proficiency in handling sit-down forklifts and related warehouse equipment.
•
Safety-Conscious: Familiarity with safety guidelines for warehouse operations
•
Detail-Oriented: Ability to pick, pack, and prepare orders with accuracy and attention to detail.
•
Basic Math: Competent in basic math to help maintain inventory and process orders.
•
Team Player: Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•
Mechanically Inclined: Experience with basic equipment repair is a plus.
•
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
