Central Tube and Bar has an immediate need for a Welder in our Assembly Division for 2nd Shift. The ideal candidate will have welding and forklift experience in a production-oriented environment.
Requirements:
•Perform welding duties as required (Furniture welding)
•Must be able to work safely, be dedicated to performing quality work, and be productive
•Effectively use measuring devices to ensure accuracy
•Perform MIG welding and be flexible to us Robotic welders as well
•Move material using forklift and crane
•Troubleshoot problems and determine corrective actions
•Communicate outside of the team and across shifts
•Demonstrate an absolute commitment to safety and model safe behavior
•Work scheduled hours including occasional overtime
•Operate hand tools required for performing job duties
•Ability to withstand a minimum of 10 hours on a concrete surface.
Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or GED.
•Technical training and/or experience in one or more of the following: structural steel welding, MIG welding.
•Must be able to read blueprints.
•Must understand all weld processes.
