Position Summary
This key role provides technical support to domestic industrial water, wastewater, and biosolids operations in various states where the company has facilities, with the ultimate goal of optimizing bio-solids disposal and significantly reducing expenses.
Major Job Duties
•Assist OTS units in collecting and validating technical data to track and prioritize projects, enhance overall compliance, optimize processes, and achieve cost savings while providing accurate information for reporting
•Support plants/systems in developing OPEX optimization initiatives, i.e., cost savings (identify, prioritize, and follow up), for example, biosolids management across the organization's footprint
•Submit a weekly "Summary of Activities" report
•Local contact for field operations when needed or when assistance is requested (understanding issues or problems—including on-site visits, access to operations, analytical data, permits, contracts, etc.)
•Respond to requests, resolve the problem, or escalate it: define the technical expertise required and contact the specialists in Construction-Engineering (CE), Information Technology (IT), and Operations Technical Services (OTS)
•Assist units in collecting and validating technical data to track and prioritize projects, enhance overall compliance, optimize processes, and achieve cost savings while providing accurate information for reporting
•Best practice implementation: Organize on-site meetings, training, and other necessary activities with the operations teams
•All other duties as assigned

Education/Skills
•Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
•15+ years of experience in the water/wastewater space, most importantly in the handling of bio solid waste products
•Experience in water and wastewater treatment
•Knowledge of the methods, techniques, principles, and practices involved in water and wastewater treatment, biosolids management, water distribution, collection networks, and water reuse
•Class 4 Wastewater certification
Requirements
•Clear extensive background check and pre-employment drug screening
•Resident of Louisiana is preferable
•Comfortable working in the elements including high temperatures
