We are currently seeking a full-time Shop Assistant for our Midland branch. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work safely in a team environment. The Shop Assistant will be responsible for:
•Cleaning, washing, and organizing equipment and tools in the shop and yard
•Working in the shop, and yard, and supporting in various departments as needed
•Maintaining a high standard of quality control and organization in the shop
•Running parts as required
•Cross-training in other departments and supporting in other areas as necessary
Desired Skills and Attributes
•An ability and willingness to perform physical labor including lifting heavy objects
•Familiarity with power and hand tools; including a pressure washer
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•A positive attitude and desire to learn.
•A clean driver’s license and the ability to work in a drug free environment
•Mechanically inclined; industry experience is not required but considered an asset
