POSITION DUTIES: Create working drawings using modeling software. Provide energy modeling and computerized load calculations. Work with senior engineers to provide trade specific mechanical system design. Evaluation of appropriate mechanical system for the building type and use. Perform equipment, ductwork and piping layout. Coordinate with the designs of other trades (architectural, structural, plumbing and electrical engineering). Assists project managers with project information related to RFI's, change, orders, bulletins and addenda. Perform site specific survey tasks for assigned projects, including conducting site condition reviews and provide subsequent detailed inspection reports for use in design process.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field. Plus seven years of mechanical drafting/design engineering experience required.

RATE OF PAY: The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.
