Job Summary:

The Assembly Material Handler will replenish the assembly line area, pick material for production operators, transfer material in / out of specified locations, transfer incoming stock from dock area to the assigned warehouse location or point of use, both physically and systematically.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ability to work in a team environment and independently

· Computer system and hand scanner experience

· Readily Adapts to change

· Able to think outside of the box, ready to try something different

· Monitors inventory levels and turns in shortages to planning department and Inventory Control Manager

· Initiate cycle count request if inventory is off

· Repetitive lifting a must

· Able to drive various types of material handling equipment, sit-down forklifts, standup forklifts, and order picker etc.

Qualifications and Experience:

· 18 years old or older

· Good math, language and reading skills; extensive computer skills required.

· High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment

· Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records

· Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner

· Maintain a clean & safe environment

· Forklift experience required; Internal Forklift certification per OSHA standards required within 30 days of employment.

· Experience working with ERP/MRP systems a plus; working with Epicor ERP preferred.

· Experience with handheld scanning equipment a plus.
