Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage comprehensive accounting functions for our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in various accounting software and principles, including QuickBooks, SAP Business One and GAAP standards. This role requires a proactive professional capable of handling all aspects of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger accounting, and account analysis.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Maintain accurate records of debits and credits, ensuring adherence to double-entry bookkeeping principles.
- Generate detailed financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Oversee budget preparation and assist with financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Handle governmental accounting requirements and tax-related tasks as needed.
- Utilize various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, Xero, and other financial tools to streamline processes.
- Perform month-end closing procedures and prepare audit documentation when required.
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role with a strong understanding of corporate, non-profit, or governmental accounting environments.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting software including QuickBooks, SAP Business One, and other financial management tools.
- Familiarity with GAAP standards, double-entry bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and general ledger management.
- Experience in preparing financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliation, and financial report writing.
- Knowledge of payroll processing, tax compliance, budgeting processes, and technical accounting concepts.
