Job brief
We are looking for a reliable office administrator. They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. This individual should have excellent time management skills, with the ability to think critically, multitask and problem solve.
Our ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. We are looking for a self-motivated individual.
The office administrator ensures smooth running of our company’s offices, and be goal oriented. Excellent communication skills are imperative.
Responsibilities
Primary duties will include close management of accounts payable/receivable.
Additional duties include;
•Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
•Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures.
•Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.
•Assist colleagues whenever necessary.
•Coordinate office activities and operations.
Attend to walk in customers and help provide a warm and welcoming office environment. This a very friendly family business who pride themselves on excellence in customer service.
Requirements and skills
•Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role.
•Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
•Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
•Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
•Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software.
•Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage.
•High school diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual in lieu of experience.
•Special preference given to those applicants who are familiar using ERP software.
