Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications across various platforms, including mobile and web. This role requires a strong understanding of software development processes, testing methodologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Duties

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.

- Utilize automation tools such as TestNG, Selenium, and JUnit to enhance testing efficiency.

- Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.

- Collaborate with developers to understand application functionality and provide feedback on design and usability.

- Conduct data analysis to identify trends in defects and recommend improvements.

- Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality standards.

- Maintain documentation of test results, defects, and other quality metrics using tools like Jira.

- Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including version control with Git or SVN.

Requirements

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, or PHP.

- Experience with database management systems like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.

- Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, REST APIs, and frameworks like MVC.

- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and computer networking concepts.

- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver or TestNG.

- Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum) and tools (Eclipse, Visual Studio).

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
