Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will work closely with key stakeholders and business users to identify gaps in current technologies, opportunities for new technology implementations, and process improvements that align with business goals. The BSA is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. As such, the BSA will also be responsible for facilitating collaboration sessions, gathering requirements, and discovering ways to remove roadblocks, supporting all aspects of the SDLC, and acting as the administrator for new and current technologies. In summary, the BSA will need to be a leader and a proactive participant in the business, focusing on systems and processes, anticipating opportunities, identifying gaps, and initiating discussions with business leaders and stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")
- Engages with business partners (single LOB) to understand vision and overall business strategies.
- Proactively initiates discussions and requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to define needs and understand limitations.
- Translates user stories and acceptance criteria into technical documentation, such as mapping documents, flow charts, test plans, and RTMs for developers.
- Organizes collaboration session cadences through the life cycle of a project or system as needed to remove roadblocks and bridge communication gaps.
- Supports business partners in user-acceptance testing (UAT), including environment stabilization, test setup, test execution, and review of test results.
- Collaborates with Solutions Analysts, Data Analysts, and Developers to brainstorm on technology solutions, coordinate user acceptance testing, and establish project timelines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
- Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
- Possess a valid U.S. Driver's License.
- Daily in-person, predictable attendance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business analytics, accounting, or finance strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate business environment or similar role with a focus on business analytics and technology solutions.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with ERP, SQL Databases, and Power BI /Tableau Reporting solutions.
- Familiarity with at least one agile framework (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- May be required to perform or learn some technical functions at a modest to reasonable level.
- Microsoft Azure Services (preferred).
- Scrum Master Certified or CBAP (preferred).
- Experience with the implementation and integration of ERP systems, Oracle Fusion preferred.
- Experience integrating Oracle Fusion with Databricks for data processing and analytics.
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, requirements gathering, Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for querying and data manipulation.
- Expertise in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modeling.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams.

The Business Systems Analyst works indoors in an office setting, primarily sitting for extended periods of time at a desk station, keyboarding and using repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and or fingers. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus while reading and staring at a computer monitor. They will also need to speak clearly and audibly, as well as have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and /or other sounds (e.g., building alarms) deriving from in-person speech, telephone, or other remote speech. No adverse environmental conditions are expected. While in the office, the Business Systems Analyst may be called upon to stand, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift; therefore, the Business Systems Analyst should be able to lift 25 lbs. independently
Work hours may include early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
