The Combi-Lift Forklift Material Handler is responsible for the general handling of materials (Structural Steel) where applicable. The handling of material may be associated with various areas, including unloading in-bound material, loading out-bound material or moving and distributing material to various operation areas for fabrication.

- Follow all company safety and quality requirements.
- Ability to efficiently and safely operate applicable equipment to unload, load and distribute material with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate with team members verbally and non-verbally.
- Ability to work efficiently in all forms of weather (wind, heat, cold, and rain).
- Willing to work flexible hours and overtime or weekends as needed.
- Prompt and dependable attendance.

- High School diploma or GED required.
- Forklift certified required (Combi-Lift experience Highly Desired)
- Exhibit strong skills in material identification.
- Exhibit strong organizational skills.

- Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric).
- Ability to work with others.

- While performing the duties of this job, the Material Handler is regularly required to sit, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear well.
- The Material Handler may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
- The Material Handler must be able to climb stairs, bend at the waist, twist, climb, stoop, stand, walk, grasp, pull, push, and have the full use of fingers on both hands to enable safe material handling, as well as function efficiently and safely in the outdoor work environments with exposure to weather extremes.
- The Material Handler must be able to hear and understand verbal instructions in a shop environment, as well as effectively communicate (verbal and written)
