Area of Specialization for Degree: Mining and Mineral Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related field
Job Description: You will contribute to the process development of extraction and separation of metals from unconventional sources and recycled materials. You will collaborate with a team of experts to drive research and development projects, troubleshoot complex metallurgical challenges, and contribute to the advancement of our innovative technologies.
Responsibility
•Conduct laboratory-to-pilot scale experiments to evaluate the feasibility and efficiency of proposed methods, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.
•Analyze data and experimental results to improve extraction methods, increase recovery rates, and minimize environmental impact.
•Collaborate with cross-functional team to develop and scale up innovative technologies for critical metals extraction and purification.
•Provide metallurgical expertise to support operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions in industrial settings.
•Prepare technical reports, presentations, and publications to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.
Job requirements:
•Bachelor’s/Master's/PHD degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on extractive metallurgy.
•5 years of experience in the related field, experience in an industrial R&D laboratory is preferred.
•Strong knowledge of metallurgical principles, process modeling, and analytical techniques. Proficiency in laboratory and pilot-scale experimentation.
•Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
•Ability to understand the purpose and underlying ideas in experiments & contribute with innovative ideas on project work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
