The operator must manage the recycling process by overseeing filtration, sedimentation, and chemical treatments to produce safe, reusable water. Additional duties include recording data, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing regular maintenance to optimize system performance. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of water treatment processes are essential for success in this role.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Performs daily operations checks of disposal wells and facilities; provide prompt notification as conditions change; conducts production tests
•Performs minor repairs of surface production and injection equipment • Maintains equipment in good operating condition
•Maintains a clean and safe wellsite
•Submits daily reports of water volumes
•Assists with construction projects as assigned by Foreman
•Maintains field offices, and company equipment including computers, and vehicles
•Responsible for maintaining neighborly and positive relationship with land-owners, customers, and regulatory agency representatives
•Complies with all regulatory, environmental and safety rules and standards, as well as company policies
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
•High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
•At least 2 years of relevant work experience
•Ability to understand excavation best practices, OSHA regulations, and Managing Safe Work
•Candidate must possess knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, specifically, Microsoft Excel
•Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently • Must be able to think critically and make informed decisions on-the-fly
