Intermediate Civil / Mechanical / Plumbing Drafting Technologist Technician - Aqua Diversities Waterworks Inc.

Design drafting for water and wastewater treatment systems, civil site plans, process plumbing and detailed design. Project support, coordination, take offs, equipment procurement and budget development with opportunity for career growth.
Up to 40 hours/week with the opportunity for overtime based on project needs.
- Create new and update existing drawings, isometric drawings, schematics, process flow diagrams, P&IDs and detailed construction drawings with inputs from senior designers and engineers
- On site data collection and site measurements
- Take offs and equipment procurement
- Travel is required
- Office and administrative support, document retention, etc.
- Must be legally eligible to work and travel within Canada
- Maintain a valid and clean driver’s license
- Post secondary education in drafting technology, engineering, or similar
- A minimum of 3 years of professional drafting experience, preferably in civil, mechanical and/or process plants
- Strong ability with AutoCAD
- 3D modeling ability a bonus
- Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs
- Comprehensive understanding of plumbing components and their interconnections, plumbing system layout and design
- Plumbing experience is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Decipher and understand codes, bylaws, regulation, contracts, and design guidelines or specifications
- Outstanding organization
