Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 3D models and drawings based on specifications provided by engineers or designers.
- Use computer-aided design (Pro E) software to generate accurate and precise technical drawings.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that designs meet project requirements and standards.
- Review and revise drawings as necessary to incorporate changes or improvements.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
- Detailing of drawings, estimating jobs and following costs. Possible added income of 2% for selling parts and projects.
- Costing and tracking of jobs.
- Ordering of materials.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role.
- Proficiency in using CAD software, such as Pro E, AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of drafting standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
