Job Overview
Allstar Construction is a leading supplier of power, gas, and communication installations in the Metro Edmonton area.
We are currently seeking a Journeyman Electrician for work in Edmonton & Area. Job is full time YEAR ROUND, 5-6 days per week, 8-10 hours per day. The Journeyman Electrician will report to the project manager and will assist in termination of street lights, electrical panels, power distribution peds, and transformers as required..
Requirements
•
Class 5 License with own vehicle
•
Lift up to 75 lbs as required
•
Holds a Journeyman Electrician ticket in Alberta
•
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
•
Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
•
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical work.
•
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using logic and problem-solving skills.
•
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
•
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others on a team.
•
Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
Compensation package will be based on the candidate’s relevant skill level and experience. A comprehensive benefit package is available after a 3 month probationary period.
Overtime paid at time and a half.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
