About This Job
Abrasive Waterjet of Indiana is hiring for an OMAX Waterjet operator. This is a full time position and reports to the Production Manager. The ideal candidate must be able to read a tape measure and calipers, must be able to lift 50-75 pounds unassisted, must have forklift experience, must have computer experience in Microsoft Windows environment, particularly Microsoft Excel. AutoCAD knowledge is a plus, but not required. Must be dependable and have dependable transportation. Having a good work ethic and good work attitude are essential to this job.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Interpreting engineering drawings for machine set up
•
Load Machines with Garnet Each Morning
•
Pick up Work Order in Production Office
•
Pull Material, Marked with Job Label
•
Upload Drawing from Server
•
Run First Article Inspection and Report
•
Sand small parts to remove excess material. Prepare & Pack Customer Orders
Remove Parts from Material
•
Receiving Metal Material & Inspection
•
Warehouse Management, Organization, and Housekeeping
•
Responsible for Cleaning and Maintaining Machines
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Previous Experience:
Microsoft Windows, with Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD knowledge a plus
Other Skills:
Work well with hands, Basic machinery operating knowledge
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
