The Human Resources Manager is responsible for full-cycle HR leadership for a high-turnover manufacturing environment. This role leads continuous recruiting, employee relations, compliance, benefits administration, and workforce stabilization efforts. The HR Manager plays a critical role in keeping production fully staffed while protecting the company from legal, safety, and compliance risk. This is a hands-on operational HR role.
· Manage continuous high-volume recruiting for hourly and salaried manufacturing roles.
· Post and manage job ads across multiple platforms.
· Conduct phone screens, interviews, reference checks, and hiring recommendations.
· Coordinate onboarding, new-hire orientations, and training compliance.
· Build and maintain an active talent pipeline.
· Serve as primary point of contact for discipline, attendance, performance, and terminations.
· Ensure compliance with federal and Oklahoma labor laws.
· Manage workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work programs.
· Manage benefits enrollment and annual open enrollment.
· Handle employee questions regarding pay, benefits, PTO, and deductions.
· Track retention metrics and identify attrition causes.
· Maintain HR dashboards for headcount, turnover, hiring metrics, workers’ comp, and absenteeism.
· 5+ years HR experience; minimum 3 years in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
· Strong working knowledge of employment law and workers’ compensation.
· Proficiency with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
· Strong documentation, investigation, and employee counseling skills.
Office and manufacturing floor environment. Frequent interaction with production staff. Extended hours during peak hiring periods may be required.
