The Shop Hand supports warehouse and inventory operations by assisting with material handling, equipment movement, and general shop duties. This position works closely with the Warehouse Manager and Inventory Control team to maintain safe, efficient, and organized shop operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support daily inventory and warehouse operations
Fill parts request forms submitted by field personnel and coordinate transportation of materials
Safely operate company vehicles and equipment, including forklifts and hot shot deliveries
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to reduce equipment downtime
Assist with shipping and receiving, including loading, unloading, and proper placement of inventory
Secure inventory items in designated storage locations in accordance with company and OEM standards
Collect and submit packing slips to the Inventory Control Coordinator
Assist with inventory organization and monthly inventory counts
Perform wash bay duties as assigned
Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop and storage areas
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by management
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
One to three years of verifiable work experience
Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a shop environment
Forklift experience preferred
Additional Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record meeting company insurance requirements
Ability to safely operate in high-traffic, congested, and rural environments
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen
