Overview
INNIO is looking to add a
HR Generalistto work within our HR team at our Waukesha, WI office. The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting a wide range of human resources functions for assigned business group(s). Key responsibilities include managing employee relations, supporting performance management processes, coordinating onboarding and offboarding activities, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies. This role also involves maintaining accurate personnel records, supporting immigration and audit-related matters, and assisting with payroll processing and HR special projects.
The
HR Generalistcontributes to policy development, labor law compliance, and the maintenance of HR systems and documentation. In addition, they will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation for their assigned business groups. This responsibility also includes managing relationships with internal stakeholders and external recruiting partners to ensure a professional and efficient hiring experience.
Key Responsibilities
+ Identify and participate in opportunities for operationalizing and streamlining offer-to-first day process, including systems, automation, internal/external communications and overall process. + Host new hire orientation and Executive Leader introduction sessions within assigned groups/locations. + Work with hiring manager and cross-functional departments to ensure new hires are appropriately set up for first day (IT, payroll, workspace, etc.) + Manage the 7, 30 and 90 new hire check-ins for assigned business group. + Own the background check program to include vendor management, background check packages, state compliance, FCRA process, etc.
