Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team at Steelial Construction & Metal Fabrication. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently to various job sites, ensuring timely deliveries that support our operations.
Responsibilities
•Operate trucks to transport materials to job sites in a safe and efficient manner.
•Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
•Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety compliance.
•Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all trips.
•Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site managers regarding delivery schedules.
•Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
•Help out on-site when needed—everyone pitches in!
Requirements
•Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) required.
•Proven experience in truck driving, preferably with tractor-trailer experience.
•Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is essential.
•Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures for various types of cargo.
•Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members.
•Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
