About This Job
We're seeking a highly motivated and capable driller to operate surface rigs across a range of projects across Canada.
As a Surface Driller, you’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining top-hammer or DTH hydraulic drilling rigs, ensuring high productivity while maintaining safety and environmental standards.
•
Operate surface drilling rigs (e.g., T40 remote, T40 Cab, SCH 3500, SCH5000) to industry standards
•
Lead and mentor off-siders or drill crews
•
Interpret drill plans and adjust operations based on site conditions
•
Complete daily drilling logs, safety reports, and maintenance checklists
•
Conduct routine inspections and minor maintenance on drilling equipment
•
Uphold company and client safety standards at all times
Requirements:
•
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience operating surface drill rigs
•
Driver’s Licence
•
Strong safety mindset and proven work ethic
•
Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol testing
•
Willingness to work in remote areas on various shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.95-$35.15 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 66 per week
