Overview:
Responsible for ensuring accurate division of interest (DOI) setup and revenue distribution for operated and non-operated wells, with emphasis on Texas and Louisiana codes, laws, regulatory environments and ownership standards.
Key Responsibilities:
•Analyze title opinions, assignments, and probate documents to establish DOI for both Texas and Louisiana properties.
•Prepare and distribute Division Orders, and maintain ownership decks in alignment with JOA, Risk-Free and AFE elections.
•Coordinate ownership changes related to mineral sales, estates, and conveyances with county and parish requirements.
•Support AFE and Risk-Free/Interested Party processes by validating ownership for well proposals and mailouts.
•Collaborate with Legal, Land, and Accounting to resolve title and DOI discrepancies.
•Support Owner Relations by handling more advanced owner inquiries and transfer processes.
Qualifications:
•3–5 years experience in Division Order work, with exposure to both Texas and Louisiana title standards.
•Proficiency with land/DOI systems and regulatory nuances of each state.
•Strong understanding of allocation wells, lease burdens, overrides, and JOA ownership structures.
